Side return extension

Studio Twenty Three were asked to design a side return extension to extend the kitchen into a more useable space. The use of glass softens the impact of the extension and floods the kitchen with light, while creating a connection with the outside. This is further expressed by the use of brick, exposed beam and copper fittings to create a modern industrial feel.
